Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Quality Coder to work
remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with various teams to ensure comprehensive education,
training, and auditing related to coding processes
Mentor and train other Professional Coders on compliant coding
standards across medical and surgical subspecialties
Educate, train, and audit Coders based on the review and
translation of provider documentation into appropriate codes
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in a
healthcare-related field
Minimum of 5 years of professional coding experience with knowledge
of complex service lines
Experience with medical coding rules for various healthcare
settings, including outpatient and inpatient
Knowledge of coding guidelines such as ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS, and
modifiers
Licensure or certification as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC
required
